Prickly Pear Take 2:
Okay, now I have pickled prickly pear. One might call them, “pickly pear”. Haha.
Recipe (two jars, A or B, each different either savory or sweet):
1 part vinegar: white-A; balsamic-B and 1 part water
Salt: 2 Tbs-A; 1/2 Tbs-B
Agave: 1-2 Tbs for B (?, just squeezed bottle for a few)
Herbs: Dill, 2 garlic cloves, shallot and coriander-A; cinnamon stick, coriander-B
Boil vinegar, water, salt (and) agave until dissolved. Pour hot over prickly pears in mason jar and seal.
Wait for 6 months (!) We’ll see…
